We congratulate the Croatian wineries whose wines Wine Enthusiast rated with superb and excellent ratings in the 90-97 range. We encourage you to sip them with a 15% discount. Here is the selection and the Wine Enthusiast tasting notes:

97 Terra Madre Premium Plavac Mali 2018 (Komarna Appellation) — This will be coming in the Spring, but we now have their 2016 vintage, ABV 14.5.

94 Black Island Winery 2021 Merga Victa Posip On The Lees (Korčula) — A dynamic array of aromas—including fresh-squeezed citrus, lemon yogurt cake, and white flowers—leap out of glasses of this Dalmatian white wine. The flavors are bright and balanced, with textural intrigue before the long, food-friendly finish. —E.S. abv: 13.5%

94 Meneghetti White (Istria) — This elegant Istrian white wine has racy citrus and herbaceous aromas and flavors. The textured palate is beautifully structured with an epically long, bright finish. —E.S. abv: 13%

93 Meneghetti 2018 Red Bordeaux-Style Red Blend (Istria) — This garnet-colored sophisticate has red fruit flavors and aromas plus subtle orange pith notes. With its velvety tannins, textured complexity, and long finish, it would be an excellent pairing with grilled beef or lamb. —E.S. abv: 13.5%

93 Stina Vino 2023 Cuvee Red Blend (Brač, Dalmatia) — 70% Plavac Mali. Nuanced berry and spice aromas meet leather and cherry flavors in this elegantly structured, medium-bodied red wine. The finish is long with artfully integrated tannins. —E.S. abv: 13.5%

92 Testament Winery NV The Dalmatian Dog Babić & Plavac Red Blend (Dalmatia) — Elegant and bright, this dynamic wine has layered red fruit flavors, balanced tannins, and a very long, food friendly finish.—E.S. abv: 13%

91 Testament Winery 2021 The Dalmatian Dog Babić (North Dalmatia) — This garnet-hued wine from an indigenous Croatian grape has red berries, cranberries, and blood-orange flavors and aromas. The crunchy, food-friendly texture and balanced tannins all wrap up in a bright finish.. —E.S. abv: 13.5%
