The first conversation celebrating women during Women’s History Month is focused on sommeliers and others who encourage women to learn about and enjoy wines.

Today se present to you Tahiirah Habibi, an esteemed Sommelier, Founder and Executive Director.

In 2012, @sippingsocialite opened the prestigious St.Regis, Bal Harbour. Her career ventured through many leadership roles to include, Micheal’s Genuine. Frustrated with the lack of diversity in the industry, she uses her skills to bridge the intersection of wine and culture.

She had created a cultural space for the Black community to share their developments and experiences in wine.
Tahiirah is the first Black woman to grace the cover of Wine Enthusiast 40 under 40 list and has been featured in Ocean Drive as one of the top 5 female sommeliers, VinePair, Wine Enthusiast, Upscale Magazine, Vogue, Imbibe Magazine and BET to name a few. She had created a cultural space for the Black community to share their developments and experiences in wine.
Infamous for her pioneering work in the wine industry, Tahiirah recently co-founded The Roots Fund, a nonprofit that will create new educational pathways, financial assistance and career opportunities for Black & Indigenous people to become successful in the wine industry.

We present to you Anna M. Viducic, WSET4, founder of the Croatian National Wine Day and Aroma Wine Company.
@anna_at_aroma is the Founder and CEO of Aroma Wine Co. and the National Croatian Wine Day in the U.S. Her passion for wine and a love for all its nuances were born out of her early restaurant experiences.

Born into a Croatian family and raised in Paris, France, you could say fashion, food, and wine were instilled in her at an early age. Spending her summer vacations in Croatia, Anna enjoyed everything that such a beautiful Mediterranean country has to offer, including working in her family’s vineyards. 🍇

Ms. Lara Romano currently serves as Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Croatia in the USA.

In 2014, Lara Romano became the first Croatian women diplomat from the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs to serve in NATO ISAF and Resolute Support missions in Afghanistan, in dual-hatted role of Political Adviser to NATO Senior Civilian Representative and Field Coordinator for the Croatian bilateral development projects with Afghan women and children.

Fluent in English, Italian and Hebrew, Ms. Romano is dedicated to promoting the importance of women in diplomatic service.
