Come Over October!

Entering October with some last Summer weather in Boston. The leaves are starting to turn. We are heading to California. Visiting our partners from the Bay Area to San Diego. We are also working on several events (check the list below), and stay tuned – a few are still in the works. We hope you can visit us and taste a wide variety of wines.

Specials this week: living the Summer to Fall transition, we are offering a Dalmatian Rosé bundle (Volarević, Rizman, Terra Madre and Korta Katarina) and a Plavac Mali bundle (Matuško, Stina and Terra Madre), with expressions from mild to bold, to help you enter the Fall in phases. These bundles are at a 15% discount.

WA:

• Seattle – this weekend, we are participating with education and donations for the ACAP Foundation Annual Conference in Seattle.

Maine:

Massachusetts:

• Margeaux Supper Parlor, November 10, 6:30pm, Porter Sq., Cambridge  — Croatian Wine Dinner, a curated multi course dinner will feature 5 paired dishes and wine pours, including Graševina, Malvasia, Babić, Plavac Mali and Prošek, and will be hosted in the Oasis room for an intimate experience. California:  

• Qua O La, San Francisco, 10/15, 5-8pm – we will take over the bar at this fun wine bar with Croatian and Italian roots. Come taste the selection. No reservations.

• Livermore, 10/17 – 11-1 ~ Dalmatia will participate with a tasting of several wines in the Livermore Valley Wine Sip-the-WorldSM event with other member wine regions of the Global AVA, including the host Livermore, Baja California, Brazil, Italy, France and Texas. $45 ticket include attendance with unlimited wine from all regions as well as small bites. Reminder about the next Masterclass, focused on Istria, on Oct. 27 at 8 pm Eastern/5 pm Pacific. We will repeat the intro to Croatian regions, then focus on Istrian regions and winemaking as well as taste four wines:  two whites – a Malvasia and a blend with Malvasia, followed by two reds –  a coastal Teran as well as a Teran from Motovun, which have very different expressions. No purchase is necessary. If you register HERE you will get a link to the Zoom video call, where we always take Q&As; or, if you cannot join us, we send registrants the recording and slides.

If you want to taste the wines along with us during the Zoom, we are offering these four wines as an Istrian Masterclass Bundle at a 15% discount. East Coasters should order by Oct. 15 to make sure they receive the wines in time for the Masterclass. The bundle includes: Damjanic Malvazija, Franković Filiam Blend, Ritoša Teran, Fakin Teran.
