A premium dry wine, produced from 30 to 60-year-old Plavac Mali vines. The highest positions in our vineyards, which get plenty of sunlight during the entire year, are dedicated to Škrapa. After careful grape selection, maceration and fermentation, the wine is aged in Croatian and French barrique barrels (225 l) for 24 months and afterwards in bottles for an additional 12 months.
Characteristics of this Marlais wine: Powerful color, clean scent. Herbal, complex, fruity taste; reminiscent of plums, jam. Lively tannins. Beautifully balanced, strong.
Pairing tips: Goes well with a tuna steak, everything grilled, ripened cheese and venison. Make sure to sip it slowly.
