Chris is half Croatian with ties to the Dubrovnik-Neretva county in southern Dalmatia. Although he grew up in the Boston area, he was constantly surrounded by Croatian culture during his childhood.

Chris now lives in Denver, Colorado after attending the University of Denver to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in finance. While in college, Chris played rugby and helped push the team to the national 7s tournament in his sophomore and senior years. He also spent time working as a ski instructor and bartender.

His business career started and continues today with Armanino, a leading accounting and consulting firm where Chris works in Risk Assurance.

Still in the early stages of his career, he decided to get involved in the Croatian wine scene to stay in touch with his roots.

 

When he’s not sipping fine Croatian wines or working, Chris enjoys skiing, playing rugby, cooking, and taking his dog Kellogg out for long walks and hikes.
