It ferments in French barrique, and it ages in 100% new French barrique up to 24 months. Intensive ruby red with purple nuances. Nose is dominated by plum and cherry aromas followed by those of forest fruit, and some hints of leather and tobacco. The complexity of this wine is best noticed on the palate. Full bodied, rounded, silky tannins, the palate is dominated by plums, dark chocolate, carob and cookie aromas, followed by smokey scents of tobacco. Very long lasting spicy, yet fruity finish.
