VINEYARD Plastovo AGEING barrique, French oak, 1 year This spicy Syrah, or as we like to call it – Shiraz, is flavorful, rounded and peppery. Its full-body and fine tannins remind of the Rhône Valley Syrah, while the herbal background and the mint freshness give it a Dalmatian touch. WINEMAKER’S NOTES I remember my first encounter with Syrah, back in the 90s. I saw great potential in the grape back then, and decided to take a leap of faith. Sangreal Shiraz soon became one of the experiments that I am extremely proud of.
